Loving My Kids

I have s'rsly been blessed with my kids.
Big Girl is doing great. She is going to school, getting good grades...she even got engaged. While I would prefer she wait until she is finished with school, I get it. But her Country Boy is a great guy. We didn't start off on a good foot, no fault to him, but I respect him a lot. I'm glad she has a good one.

*Steve is doing great in school as well. He his going more into the ministry. I think he may end up being a Pastor. We shall see where He leads. I am really missing the kid too. I can't wait for spring break. I hope he comes home for a visit.

Flannel Boy will be 18 soon. I can't believe how fast the time has gone. At least with Big Girl, I've had a few years to adjust. Now I have to get all depressed all over again. But I am proud of him. He has a good head on his shoulders. He knows right from wrong and has a strong moral code. Now he just needs to get a job! LOL. That has been my mantra for awhile.

Monster Boy...well he is a Lil Monster. But I love him. He has always been destined to challenge me. There are moments that he just surprises the heck out of me. He was home sick the other day and when I came home, he had cleaned the house. And did his brother's dishes!

Miss Priss is a young lady who is always willing to help out. She does most of what you ask...as long as it isn't to read. She is very talented too. She can write every well. Very poetic.

Lil Miss is another challenging child. She is a self described "creative" child. That she is. Very inventive. She is always coming up with inventions. Plus, she is pretty honest. 9 times out of 10 she will tell on herself. LOL

Baby Girl...she isn't a baby anymore. My girl is growing up. She is 5 now. She has a talent for music. She can learn the lyrics to songs quicker than anything. I see music in her future.

Lil Bambino...that kid has a 1000 watt smile. I tell you, when he smiles, it lights the whole world. He is learning to talk too. And STUBBORN as a mule. He surprised me last night with his stamina...but mama broke through...we'll see how long that lasts.

Each one of them is their own distinct person. I love who they are.
