I don't even know where to start. I am full of so many emotions. I am angry. I am sad. I am frustrated.
I am astonished. I am angry. Already said that one. But I could probably use a much stronger word.
Let's just say that now I know why so many people have little faith in our justice system.
1. In my opinion...they are right, there is no justice.
I just had a meeting with the "locals" and learned a lot about how things work. It is disgusting. Basically, if it isn't a "high profile case" you can kiss any justice in the butt and be done. I am pretty sure that I will be butting heads soon...after my 90 days are up!
I was given the "not enough resources and a waste of money" spew. Totally sickening. No wonder we have vigilanties! Because nothing will be done unless the case makes it to the papers!
Our system is totally screwed. We need change and we need serious change! The bad thing is...I don't think anyone working outside the system even knows "how it works". I THOUGHT I knew exactly how it worked.

Now I know my direction. Let's see how far I get!
