If I Won the Lotto

After reading a Facebook post, I thought about what I would do if I won the lotto.

Of course I would have to actually buy a lotto ticket! LOL!

Now this isn’t necessarily the order in which I would do it, but this is what has popped into my mind for now.

  • Pay off all debts. We have several things that are holding us hostage. I would love for it to just be GONE!
  • I would pay off this house…and completely hand it over to my in-laws.
  • I would purchase the “perfect” home for my family. Most likely have it built.
  • I would invest the money so that I would have a steady income that I could rely on.
  • I would hire tutors for all my children so that they can focus on studies that meet THEIR needs and interests. They would be homeschooled by a teacher who loves education and can adjust to the child’s learning style.
  • I would pay off the debts for my family and close friends.
  • I should mention that I would continue working where I work because I feel this is where God has lead me…and I want to continue in His will.
  • I would build my own “Whit’s End” and have a SAFE place for kids to come and hang out…learn about God and have free tutoring. (Of course I would need continued funding to offer this as a FREE resource for the children)….Those who are familiar with Adventures in Odyssey will know what Whit’s End is!
  • I would help my former church with their ministries.
  • I would help my church to build a facility to continue our ministries.
  • I would go on vacation to all the places that I have been wanting to visit.

Now the only reservation I have about winning the lotto is the fact that working hard and struggling to achieve my goals is a learning/growing experience.
