Labor Day part 3 of Day 2

For our next adventure, we leave the boys behind…well, Lil Bambino stayed with us.
*Steve, Flannel Boy, and Lil Monster decided to go swimming in a hole somewhere. I am sure they had fun.
We left to go to Cumberland Gap National Park and show the girls the Pinnacle. But first, we stopped and DH took the girls on a short hike to a small cave that is next to the pavilion and play ground on Pine Mountain… I stayed in the van with Lil Bambino because I was still winded from earlier!




Okay, on to the Pinnacle. I love going to the Pinnacle. The view is breathtaking!

After we did this, I got a call from *Steve…wanting to know if I would come and get his brothers…LOL. That didn’t last long.
We went back to the dorm and said our goodbyes. It was bittersweet. I hate “leaving him behind”, but I have such peace for where he is at. He is right where God wants him to be. I know that he is in the safest of hands.

Then we went and ate supper….LOL.
We stopped at that Original KFC!
It was actually raining, so the girls and I stayed in the van. I did get out to take that first picture there.
The next morning, we were up and out of there. Had a nice pouring rain kind of day to drive home in. :-p
