Today we were standing in the kitchen and I was giving
Lil Miss her meds for the morning. She looks as me and asks me, "Are you an adult?" At first, I stop because I am trying to figure out why she is asking...anytime one of the kids wants to do something they aren't allowed...they ask why can "we" do it but not them. Since I couldn't think of anything that she would be wanting to do, I answered her. "Yes, I'm an adult".
She cocks her head and says, "Some
(don't know who) are saying that you look to young."
I glance up at
Flannel Boy who is making his own breakfast and he says, "Suck up."
Still haven't figured out what she wants...or who is saying that I look too young to be an adult...but it sure isn't
