It has been awhile

I have to admit, it has been a LONG while since I have worn make-up. Usually it is only for special occasions and holidays. But I figured with a possible new job, I had better get into the swing of things and start wearing it again.

Of course all of my stuff is old and outdated...more like EXPIRED.

Especially the eye shadow and blush.

So I made a special trip to Walmart.

The selection had my head spinning. I needed new foundation thanks to Baby Girl using mine as finger paint, eye shadow and blush. There are so many different kinds that I s'rsly did not know what to do.

I tried googling it...that didn't work out so well.

Then I found this:

Eye Shadow for Dummies.

Yep...now at least I can put my eyeshadow on...

I wasn't as lucky with the foundation. I bought Physicians Formula...thinking, cool... I don't really have to worry about matching because it all blends.

Ummm. No...it just looks like I put white powder on my face even though I bought in my "color" range.

My advice...next time you want to buy makeup...take a friend who will help you match your foundation for you....or your teen daughter. Their motivation to make sure you look good: not to be embarrassed when out with mom!
