The other day Miss Priss and Baby Girl came in from playing outside all excited. Miss Priss says, "Look what we found!"
Okay...gross. They found the jaw bone of what looks to be a raccoon. I told them to get it out of the house and wash their hands. Just before Miss Priss turns around, Baby Girl grabs at it and and yanks a tooth out.
Miss Priss is freaking out. But I know exactly what is running through Baby Girl's little head...a free lollipop!
I tell her, "Baby Girl...don't think you can fool the Tooth Fairy with that!"
Since I am in the middle of changing a nasty diaper, I totally forget about it. That is until DH begins to make the bed this morning and roars, "WHAT IS THIS UNDER MY PILLOW!"
I just bust out laughing. You see, DH was the last one to lose a tooth and he gave it to Baby Girl to put under his pillow for her to get the lollipop...so I figure that Baby Girl thinks that was her best chance.
Thankfully, Baby Girl and the rest of the kids were downstairs. So the Tooth Fairy had time to write a quick note.
DH yelled down the stairs and asked who put a tooth under his pillow. She came running as fast as she could. Then she stopped. Confusion on her face. Her expression was priceless! She asks, "Why is the tooth still there?"
DH hands her the note. (She can only read her name). So DH reads it to her. Her confusion turns to disgust and she says. "I am going to put it under my sister's pillow and the Tooth Fairy won't know I did it."
So this is what I found under Miss Priss's pillow. Note and all.
Now the Tooth Fairy has to think of a good consequence for Baby Girl for trying to trick her again....any ideas?
